Kurt & Karl Von Brauner
& Gentleman Saul Weingroff
The German twins were NWA World Tag Team Champions
in the 1960-62 era in Tampa Bay wrestling. Their manager, ”Gentleman” Saul
Weingroff was always interfering in their matches, resulting
in controversial victories.
The boys quit wrestling in the late 60’s,
Karl moving to California where he was an air freight pilot.
Kurt stayed in Tampa, working for the Southland Corporation,
and later becoming chief of security at the Shriners Hospital.
Saul continued with wrestling, guiding his
youngest son George into the business. Saul passed away in the
mid 80s while living in Tennessee |
