I am now working for Genesis Communications, kind of a mom and pop owned by Bruce Maduri who lives here in Tampa.

I am the Production Director and Imaging Director for all 5 of our stations; WWBA “News Talk 1040” and WLVU “ESPN 1470” in Tampa.

Also WAMT “AM Talk Radio 1190” and WHOO “ESPN 1080” in Orlando. And WIXC “ESPN 1060” in Melbourne.

Luckily I am able to do all the work here at our Tampa studios on Reo Street, across the parking lot from the old Q-105 building.

I can’t tell you how much nicer it is to work for a company like this, rather than the BIG Corporate giants.

Matt got into radio after being influenced by Tedd Webb in the early 1970’s when he was a caller to WLCY.

He did a great afternoon show with Kristy Knight at Star 95.7 before the format change.
