Steve
Fredericks Steve Liddick was
the morning deejay at WDAE, Tampa, FL in the late 1960s (AKA:
Steve Fredericks) when Ed Ripley was Program Director. Moved
to Rounsaville's Nashville station as Program Director of WVOL
in 1968. Switched to news when he moved to Los Angeles at the
end of that year (KIIS-FM, K-DAY (News Director), KPOL and
KRTH (K-Earth - News Director).
Steve says "My wife and I live on a ranch
east of Sacramento, CA now and own a small publishing company
(Top Cat Publications) with three titles in our catalog: ("Sky
Warriors" a novel; "Eat Cheap" a cookbook; "Campsite
Gourmet" a camping cookbook and several more in various
stages of completion. I still do news from my home studio for
Metro Networks on a part time basis and have several other part
time ventures I plan to retire from in another year." |
