This St Paul Minnesota native had the big voice and huge talent. The master of the mid day was WFLA’s 10am-2PM guy for years.

Scott was a WWII vet in the Army, and afterwards got his degree from Macatester College. He taught English, Speech, and directed the drama department in Wayzata.

Previous radio stops in Iowa at KICD, and WTCN in Minneapolis. Joined WFLA in 1966.

Tampa Bay Radio Legend Scott Farrell passed away on April 9th.

Scott had been an English and theatre teacher before his career in radio. He was part of the mix at 970WFLA which featured Jack Harris, Bob Passwaters, Tom Clark, Jeff Rogo, Bill Swisher and Dean Drapin.
