Ray Collins

Ray Collins anchored and reported for Newsradio 970 WFLA in the late 80's. He also did updates during Tedd Webb's Sports Huddle -- which Ray said was usually the highlight of his day. (While doing a news story about truckers using their CB radios to arrange trysts with hookers, Tedd broke in and said, "That's a BIG 6-9, good buddy.")

Ray left Tampa to begin a TV career in Ft. Myers, which later took him home for a 5 year stint in Buffalo, and then onto a position as Main Anchor at the CBS affiliate in Richmond, Virginia.
