Leslie Spencer was the first female weekday
TV anchor in the Tampa Bay area. She worked for WTVT for more
than 20 years anchoring the morning, noon and five o'clock programs.
She left in 1996 to work for Publix Super
Markets as DIrector of Consumer Relations and Strategic Comm-unications.
Leslie has remained a guest on local public
affairs programs in the area, and was the "political analyst" on WTVT
during the November, 2002 elections.
