Kevin Murray

Kevin DeVinny Murray, near life-long resident of Tampa now works as an instructor of Ethics at St. Petersburg College. After serving the Catholic Church as a priest for 15 years, Kevin opted for a career change in 1996.

In addition to his teaching at SPC, Murray is called on from time to time by the Tampa Bay and national media to weigh in on issues related to the Catholic Faith. He has also published numerous op-ed pieces locally and nationally on a variety of topics. He continues to work at writing a book about his experience as a Catholic priest.

Kevin is married to Joan Hickey and spends his leisure time writing, playing golf, sailing and traveling. Murray’s most recent travels have taken him to Ireland, Italy, Malta and Tunisia.
