Jim Stanley

"The Stanley Steamer" is what he was known as, the highest rated morning show on Tampa Bay for years. WLCY started it’s day with Jim’s hilarious ranting from 6-10 AM. Jim Stanley was a vaudevillian at heart, his show was a throwback to another era, and fans loved him for it.

After his illustrious career in radio, Jim went on to be the spokesman for the Florida State fair, a position he held until his death 6/01/1993 from cancer. His Daughter, Anna Marie emailed the correct date to us and added "Thanks for including my dad on your site. His days at 'LCY were great (for him and our family)."
