all obvious
results of thousands of hours spent writing, producing, and performing
musical images for clients across the country. Jeff Arthur is president and founder of Jeff
Arthur Productions, a 25+ year old company which offers custom
musical images for clients at radio and television stations throughout
the nation, as well as film and television scores, team fight
songs, audio/visual presentations, and state-of-the-art on-hold
messaging systems. Jeff Arthur Productions is one of the largest
custom music production companies in the United States.
Formerly a recording artist for Columbia and
A&M Records, Jeff played with the trio Arthur, Hurley &
Gottlieb, recording the 1973 hit Sunshine Ship. Arthur
started his commercial music career with a 1971 jingle created
for Just Pants. He has gone on to craft his music for such national
clients as Reebok, Anheuser-Busch, Continental Airlines, Wendys,
the NBA, and you may recognize his most recent sports club song
for the Bucs called, Hey! Hey! Tampa Bay. He has appeared
on such national television shows as The Mike Douglas Show and
in concert with the New York Philharmonic. Arthur is also credited
for coining the now famous phrase, Just Say No, for
the Keebler Corporation and Nancy Reagans drug awareness
program. When hes not meeting with clients or
behind a microphone or mixing board, Arthur travels the country,
addressing seminars and conferences on the marketing applications
of music. He has visited New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Atlanta
as feature speaker for Adweek magazine and was one of a select
team of advertising professionals chosen to speak at the National
Retail Advertising Conference in Chicago. Time Magazine music critic, Joan Downs, sums
up Jeff Arthur:
skillful commercial production
voices that ring out strong and bright against vivid instrumentation. In addition to Jeff Arthur Productions, Arthur
operates two other music and voice talent-based companies: MallTalk
providing in-mall broadcast advertising for shopping centers
and their merchants around the country
and On-Hold Business
Systems providing on-hold messaging systems, allowing clients
to inform their callers about products and services while they
wait on hold. Clients include: Merrill Lynch, Humana, Raymond
James, and many others across the nation. Mr. Arthur is married, has a daughter and a
son and is a native and current resident of Clearwater, FL.
