Where Are They Now?

Jak Kelly

For over thirty years now, Detroit born Jak Kelly has been sharing his unique brand of music with the world.

His songs, showmanship, and talent have touched the hearts and souls of people half way 'round the world. Performing with, and opening for such acts as, The Kingston Trio, Jimmy Buffet, Leon Russell, Bob Seger, Steve Goodman, John Prine, and too many more to list here.

In 1973, Tedd Webb and Tampa attorney Walter Lopez signed Jak to a Publishing contract, and through his manager Cadillac Jack Henriquez, Jak got a contract with " MONUMENT RECORDS" in Nashville. He was summarily used as a tax write off, but became a much sought after guitarist in the studios of "Music Row", adding his skills to many hits of the time.

Jak’s songwriting ability are awesome, as heard on his classic “This Morning, The Widow”

Jak has traveled constantly, sharing his music with all that would listen.

To paraphrase a message on a Coffee House wall... "FOR A GOOD TIME... CALL JAK KELLY" -- www.jakkelly.com
