Drew Soicher

Drew Soicher joined 9NEWS in January of 2000 as the sports anchor of Daybreak and 9NEWS 6 a.m... He was with WFTS Ch 28 before departing for the West Coast. His colorful and irreverent style got him noticed immediately upon arriving in Tampa Bay. He was a hit!

Drew grew up in Southfield, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in communications. Drew started his sports broadcasting career at WILX-TV in Lansing. He also worked in Fresno, Seattle, Los Angeles, Tampa and San Francisco before settling in Denver.

Drew enjoys photography, basketball, and wrestling with his children. Married, Drew and his wife have two kids.
