David Fowler

Perhaps the greatest story teller talk radio has ever know, David was a mainstay at WPLP and even worked a slot at Newsradio 970 WFLA in the late 90s.

David was a loner, started in radio in West Virginia, under the tutelage of Jack Harris, no joke. His career was spent entertaining people with a very quick wit, the best stories I have ever heard told, and with a great deal of talent and creativity.

David passed away in August of 2004, shortly after losing his wife. He will always be regarded as a legend in these parts.
