Dan began as a radio DJ at WFBL, Syracuse, N.Y., followed by morning shows in Houston, Dallas, and Tampa. He is quite fond of his 6 years as WQYK Morning Host from 1987-1993: "It was such a fun ride and I enjoyed some of my most successful radio days there. Working with Rita, Fred, and Les was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I miss the terrific friends and people I met in Tampa... not to mention the great weather!".

Dan and Tampa Bay Devil Rays play by play man Charlie Slowes grew up in Yonkers New York, and went to high school together at Roosevelt High School. Small world isn’t it?

Although he is currently retired from radio, Dan says in his Schwarzenegger voice, "I'll be back!"
