Al Gardner

Al started the morning news wheel at WFLA one day by accident. He and Chuck Harder came in to cover Hurricane Agnes. The bosses took notice and the next thing you know Gardner & Company was formed and served the morning audiences of the bay area. The show now is hosted by Jack Harris, Tedd Webb & Sharon Taylor and is known as AM Tampa Bay.

Gardner is a very talented man, a musician with the gift to play several instruments. He's played in bands in between radio jobs. His Dad worked at a Phila-delphia TV station, giving Al a leg up on a career decision, “what to do for a living?”.

Al has worked all over the country during his broad-cast career, and now host the morning news show at WBT in Charlotte, North Carolina.
