Austin Idol

Austin idol, is the creation of Port Tampa born and bred Mike McCord.

He graduated from a wrestling powerhouse high school, Robinson High in Tampa. That school also gave us Hulk Hogan, Mike Graham, and Steve Keirn.

McCord was one of the survivors of the plane crash that killed Bobby Shane in 1975. He was flying with Buddy Colt and Gary Hart. The plane encountered poor weather and zero visibility when it went down in the murky waters of Tampa Bay.

McCord headlined all over the USA and Japan.  He has not been heard from in quite some time.
